Installation method of thermal conductive silicone film

1. Keep the end face of the thermal conductive silicone film clean to prevent it from sticking to dirt. Dirty thermal conductive silicone film will have reduced self-adhesion and sealing thermal conductivity.

2. When taking out a large area of thermal conductive silicone film, it should be grabbed from the center. For small pieces, there is no requirement for grasping because uneven force on large pieces may cause deformation, affecting subsequent operations and even damaging the film.

3. Hold the piece with the left hand and tear off one side of the release liner with the right hand. Do not tear off both sides of the release liner at the same time to reduce the number and area of direct contact with the thermal conductive silicone film, in order to maintain its self-adhesion and thermal conductivity.

4. Tear off one side of the release liner, facing towards the heat sink. Align the thermal conductive silicone film with the heat sink and slowly put it down, being careful to avoid air bubbles.

5. If there are bubbles during the operation, pull up one end of the film and repeat the above steps, or gently remove the bubbles with a tool. The force should not be too great to avoid damaging the thermal conductive silicone film.

6. Tear off the other side of the release liner and place it in the heat sink. The force used should be gentle to avoid tearing or lifting the thermal conductive silicone film.

7. After tightening or using strong adhesive thermal conductive silicone film, apply a certain amount of pressure to the heat sink and store for a period of time to ensure that the thermal conductive silicone film is securely fixed.
